I got it !!! A whole animated book !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

I give a saved action to each added page and I use an "opening" action or a "closing" action to the covers...

If you want to discover my animated book, here is a link to the zipped AVI file :

Animated book (1.5 Mb)

(Only 640 x 480 to test the legibility of the texts !)

(If you understand french, don't really read the texts because there are stupid...

It was only to see the result !!!) :)

With this animated book (opening cover, closing cover and the possibility to add as many pages as desired), I have some educational projects and why not commercial projects...

In the middle, the pages are flat to allow the legibility of the words... and the pages follow the cover by opening and closing the book ! I could make curved pages in the middle but there is not only pictures... and children could have problems to read them...

Thanks...

Good idea the blur motion...

Now I have to find how to do that. ;)

Yes ! I think there are a lot of possibilities to use the flipping book. Especially in the educational domain...

Motion blur is an option when you're doing a final-quality render. I believe it's set for a default of 20% which should be sufficient. You don't want more; you may want a little less. Also keep in mind that once you turn on motion blur it affects the entire movie, even where you may not intend it!

Yes...

The blur motion was a good idea for more realism... but the blur effect isn't good for the texts... :(

I'm not sure if you understand that motion blur only applies to movement. So once the page is turned and not moving fast, the text should be crystal clear.

OK ! Thanks for the information...

Blur "motion" would be for... motion... only ! You're right !!!

I have to retry with another percentage of motion blur...

Also, try to use "multipass" and try different numbers of passes (I find that 16 is needed for realistic blur).
