jpiazzo
Hi everyone, This is my first attempt at modeling anything like a face. I think I have to many splines, probably all in the wrong place. Things really got away from me when I attached the ears. Can I improve on what I have, or should I start from scratch again. I really learned alot just getting here! Paul Forwood
That's a cute Teddybear and well done. That's really pretty good for a first attempt. You could lose alot of splines in there but get some practice in and do a bit of tweeking of bias handles to smooth out some of the more extreme lumps. Keep it up. Korken
I'd say it's a great start! Keep up the good work! //Korken
littleandy
I like the basic shape you're going for. Just get rid of any splines that seem even a LITTLE bit redundant, and it will clean it up a lot, and get rid of the rumpliness of the face. -Andrew
jpiazzo
Thanks for the encouragement! My original face mask, eyes and face were alot lighter in splines. Then I added the mouth - OK, the mouth area needs detail. Then I tried to turn the face into a nice round head - OH BOY! Then I modeled the ears and attached them...thats when things got messy. I am really glad you all like the overall look though - I was going for cute and sympathetic - the poor bear, after all, he spent most of his life, in my story, wired to the front grill of a garbage truck as a hood ornament!
