littleandy Posted October 20, 2003 Posted October 20, 2003 Couldn't attach this in my other forum, so here it is. Any criticism would be great! And I'll give a nickel to anyone who can tell me how to render the wireframe of it. Still no eyes. Or arms. Working on that. -Andrew Quote
zacktaich Posted October 20, 2003 Posted October 20, 2003 Send me a nickel! Put him in the coreography window in wireframe mode. then press the print screen button. Go into photoshop and ctrl-v it. Haha if I had a nickel everytime I've..... Quote
JohnArtbox Posted October 20, 2003 Posted October 20, 2003 Great Bug Andrew. To render a wireframe just set the quality to wireframe and output a targa. Or if your one of the unlucky few with videocard driver issues(can't render to realtime) then use screencapture. On a pc press the printscreen button on the keyboard with a paint program open in the bg, then paste the capture into the paint program. Quote
littleandy Posted October 20, 2003 Author Posted October 20, 2003 Thanks! Here's the wireframe- I've changed the body just a little so I can put the arms on- I'll try to have a more developed model in a couple hours. -Andrew Quote
Mike Lium Posted October 21, 2003 Posted October 21, 2003 Nice bug Andrew is that the little guy that is your avitar ? good start and loking forward to seeing it progress. Quote
jfirestine Posted October 21, 2003 Posted October 21, 2003 I like the modeling! Keep us informed with your progress! Nice model! Quote
littleandy Posted October 21, 2003 Author Posted October 21, 2003 Ok. a couple hours turned into several hours. I think the relationship between my computer and animaster is disfunctional. Keeps crashing. Yadda yadda... Here's the latest version of mr. bug. If anybody out there has any ideas on texturing for me, I'd be happy to hear that too. -Andrew Quote
Mike Lium Posted October 21, 2003 Posted October 21, 2003 you know sometimes the simple things make great characters and this is one of those. very nice Quote
tjmoondragon Posted October 21, 2003 Posted October 21, 2003 HEY ANDREW!!! Your the kewlest and so is your bug. expecially those antennas (very sexy) my compliments to who ever did those keep it up bro! -TJ Quote
littleandy Posted October 21, 2003 Author Posted October 21, 2003 No, it's not my avatar. That was a model I made on nendo and then found out that it didn't want to export right into Animaster. So I've found a new use for him. I see how you could mistake the two though- I have a thing for creatures with antennae. -Andrew Quote
littleandy Posted October 22, 2003 Author Posted October 22, 2003 Ok. Here's the feet, and the beginnings of the eyes. And a nice 3/4 view of the back! Took me a long time to do the eyes, and they still aren't quite the way I want, but this is all I can get up in time before I go to school. Feedback is great! Love feedback! Especially if any of you see any areas that seem particularly angular. (And do the eyes look at all crossed? Or is it just me. Maybe I'm crazy.) Thanks! Andrew Quote
Sofabutt Posted October 24, 2003 Posted October 24, 2003 It's really coming along. Looks great. Quote
zacktaich Posted October 24, 2003 Posted October 24, 2003 His eyes don't look crossed. Sad, yes, but crossed, I dont think so. Quote
