Wegg Posted January 28, 2005 Posted January 28, 2005 he he. . . Like my marketing catch? Thought it fit in will with Hash. . . Anyway I have just finished uploading a bunch of new materials on eggprops and want to share their sexiness with you. First we have ElCapitan. . . this is the material that Brian starts off with a lot for his landscapes. You can find it <here> Then we have my favorite. . . The Gneiss material. If you google "Gneiss" you can find all sorts of info on it. <here> Then we have this one Brian called "Doom" which is kind of fun. . . . <here> Then this Cobbled stone one. . . which looks pretty versatile . . . <here> And. . . there are a few more that I will be adding in the next few days. . . I hope you guys find them useful and for all those who have purchased other materials. . . I can't wait to see what you do with them. Quote
starwarsguy Posted January 28, 2005 Posted January 28, 2005 I'm about to make a big material purchase. Maybe I'll add some of these to my list! Great work! Doom looks great! Ever planning on doing some leather ones, or fabric? Quote
balistic Posted January 28, 2005 Posted January 28, 2005 Some of the flesh shaders could look like leather with minor color tweaks, particularly Elephantesque. Maybe Nice Tan too. Remember, once you've downloaded the materials you can modify any of their properties. Quote
KenH Posted January 28, 2005 Posted January 28, 2005 I take it you don't need darktree or the enhanced thingy to use these materials.... Quote
Wegg Posted January 28, 2005 Author Posted January 28, 2005 I take it you don't need darktree or the enhanced thingy to use these materials.... Nope. These are all 100% A:M native. Later I will start offering Darktree products due to their crossplatform abilities. (LW, Max, Renderman etc.) but if it is in the A:M section. . . it is 100% A:M native. Quote
starwarsguy Posted January 28, 2005 Posted January 28, 2005 Yeah, I know. I just didn't think of that... Thanks! Quote
Mr. Jaqe Posted January 28, 2005 Posted January 28, 2005 If only I could pay for your material, Wegg... 15 years and no Visa, it's a hard time... Quote
Wegg Posted January 29, 2005 Author Posted January 29, 2005 If only I could pay for your material, Wegg... 15 years and no Visa, it's a hard time... The payment method is PayPal and that thing accepts anything. I'm pretty sure you could trade in bags of wheat. . . Quote
Mr. Jaqe Posted January 29, 2005 Posted January 29, 2005 will check it out more closely, then. I need material Quote
zacktaich Posted January 29, 2005 Posted January 29, 2005 15 here too, I've gotten a few of Wegg's materials by alternate means. You're not dealing with a massive corporation here, just wegg, so if you really want materials you can work out a method of payment with him. I don't want to put words in Wegg's mouth, but I bet you could figure out a way to pay in cash or by check. Quote
Mr. Jaqe Posted January 29, 2005 Posted January 29, 2005 so what you're saying is...Wegg is simple? Quote
starwarsguy Posted January 29, 2005 Posted January 29, 2005 LOL. No. he's just saying he's not AS complicated as a big corporation... Quote
Mr. Jaqe Posted January 29, 2005 Posted January 29, 2005 you're just saying things, I bet Wegg is juuuust as complicated as McDonnalds Quote
zacktaich Posted January 29, 2005 Posted January 29, 2005 I'm saying that you could work out a way with him to send him cash, and he'll give you bonus points. I've gotten bonus points in the past, so I know they work. Wegg has confirmed for me that he'd be willing to do this. Quote
Wegg Posted January 29, 2005 Author Posted January 29, 2005 Bonus points? Each bonus point is worth a dollar. You can pick "bonus points" as your method of payment. Zack did some work for me (proof reading) and I gave him some points. Quote
