Happy Birthday, Rob. I hope you had a nice day. Thanks for all the work you do running the contests.

This might have something to do with it:

Does this mean I can get Sinatra for free in 2047? Can’t hardly wait...
-
Rob, nice image, like your composition.
Happy New Year everyone, hopefully 2022 is going to be a better year.

Happy Thanksgiving, Rob!
Happy Thanksgiving, fellow Hash folk!

I have an older refrigerator that uses some plastic brackets which have weakened and cracked over time. I've checked a couple parts stores online but it looks like the parts have been discontinued. Is there anyone that would be able to 3D scan a plastic bracket and then make a copy and a mirror image part? I'd be willing to pay you for materials and your trouble.

These are very good for low poly models. How did you get the devil lady and catlady so curvy? Also, why are some of the monsters blinking in and out in the videos? Are you doing a whole mod? Would be interested in seeing the full mod.

Apparently, from what I read on his site it sounds like he started it a long time ago, and his crew talked him into finishing it, it was funded via Kickstarter in stages and then finally finished recently.

I don't know how I haven't run across this before now, but this looks wild:

If you were ever wondering about the origins of an iconic song, well, it's much older than you might have realized:

A friend sent me this, I thought it was kinda neat:

This really isn't a serious program, more of a toy but impressive what he managed to do with a a simple programming language.

Well, I think Robert should stop being lazy and get the Image Contest video done!
He really doesn't have any good reasons to not have that out yet.
(but, thanks guys!)
Take your time, there's no rush.

Happy 4th of July to you as well, Rob.

This offer is good through October 2022
Don't know how useful it is in general if you already have a paint program, but the Flame Painter looks like it might be useful for hand-painting certain kinds of effects.

Just wanted to say a quick "thank you" to Rob for going to the trouble of running the image contests. It's always interesting to see the different themes and see what everyone comes up with. Thank you again, Rob, for your efforts.

You may want to consider running Windows XP or Windows 2000 in a Virtualbox VM and then run your older version of AM on that. That may let you get around the problem if money is tight.
-
Rob, let me know if you need some advice on setting up a Win 7 or XP vm for software orphaned by Win 10.

FYI: looks like they might have extended this one, still has several more days to go.

For those that want to dabble in electronic music:
Good for another 6-7 days.

Looks cool, how are you generating the trippy backgrounds?

I can make it say, "hell, yeah" and "baby" 😃
Hmmm I'll have to mess with it more, I can get it to do "yeah" but am having problems getting anything else out of it.

A really neat YouTube channel - Steadycraftin'

I ran across this guy's channel almost by accident, he does a lot of stop-motion animation and different craft type projects relating to that:
I highly recommend it. He references Keith Lango in the above video, it's definitely a small world.
There's a little something for everyone, though, no matter what type of animation you do.
