alright, nevermind-- anyways, back to the girl pred, i made her arms a little less scrawny and i made a short vid of her, a 7 sec vid, and posted it on YouTube

yeah, uh..... the lens flares in A:M, i want some of them to be so that they dont shine light, cast shadows or make it look like its a light, i want it to just be a lens flare, nothing else, for example, a very shiney knife, exe. i hope you know what i mean because i cant seem to know how else to say it.

actually, i think i'm having it cooperate a little, maybe if i tinker with it a bit more, i'll get it right.

Try setting them both to Add. It works here. You might want to put ON "Hold last frame" too.

And in your Chor action have you set the action to Add, blend or replace?

ok, i have a complicated model, with a complicated walk cycle. in choreography mode, i add the action to the model, yes, it works- but one thing, if i move a bone manually, the bone in the rest of the action cycle will not do the action, instead, it goes back into the position it is before you would add an action to the model. i hope i'm making sence, its hard to explain this
any help would be appreciated

Hi, I've watched the development of this model.
It looks very good.
Much attention to detail that serves it well.
The one thing I did wonder, was the teeth.
I looked closer and those chompers do have good detail....
....then I realized, they looked very reflective.
If this is a style choice, I understand.
Just thought I'd mention it.
P.S. I just watched the alien queen video. Very nice! That looks like fun to play with. Would it be alright if I borrowed that model from you to have a crack at animating it?
i would love to let someone try my model, but it's not as easy as you may think.... the model doesn't have any "smart legs" as i refer to them, if you don't understand, i mean that the legs and arms aren't in a fluent motion as the legs and arms are in the models done by other people, for example, Gala.
although, if you still want the model with these "defects" reply to this post again and i will send it, although i might need your email- web address exe.

ok, I decided to start modeling the 2004-type alien model..... sorry for the long wait, but it takes a while to make things on my end.
here is the head, i'm going to start on the small mouth part soon, please post any suggestions you have.

alright, since no one has made up their minds i'm going to make both types of models, the ones from the first 2 alien movies and the aliens from AvP.
i also made a quick test on my alien queen and posted it on YouTube, i forgot to tell you.

yes, the tail is like 3 times more segmented than the model i have, but then it would have been too much for the model, and the computer, and at the moment, im only aiming at the models, not the maps,decals,exe.
and jon, are you saying that for the alien drones they should be from the first two movies? and also, do you mean sharp edges like at the corners of the mouth? because im fixing that at the moment, so far, heres a left side view
one last question for today, im thinking of using the song "Pretty Woman" by Roy Orbison, and im not sure who to use it for... the Alien Queen, or the female Predator. maybe both? i dont know

there were only two alien movies: alien and aliens.... the others were just cruel hoaxes.
your queen's body seems great, but that tail should be more tapered towards the end.
your biggest challenge lies ahead: in the films, the lighting (or lack thereof) greatly contributed to the menace of the creatures.
and, of course, lots of slobber.

um, i dont know what you mean by "tapered", can you explain it to me? including the lighting part, do you mean how dark thier surrounding is? and yes, the slobber will be hard, i would be glad for any offered help

I've learned that i need to upgrade to an ATI RADEON graphics card, rather than an NVIDIA graphics card. which RADEON card do you recomend? and do RADEON cards work ok in a computer having an intel VIIV DUAL CORE PROCESSER E6400?

ok, im thinking about making the alien drones, but i dont know how they should look like, should they look like the aliens frome the first 2 alien movies, or the aliens from alien resurrection and alien versus predator? and the movie for the alien queen is too big for me to post on here, even if i double the clip's speed, and with the best renderer, can anyone help?

well, i was thinking of making some new Predator characters, five of them, but i think i will do one at a time. im worried about the names though, i would like you guy's opinion..... should the names be like according to their character, or a 'weird' name like Sha'rack or something like that, or should it be both? the first character im making is a male predator, mostly black and gray( i dont know, should he be ALL black?), is the oldest of the five, and has a celtic predator helmet. any responses or opinions would be appreciated.
AND NO ONE STILL HASN'T TOLD ME WHAT A STAR PATCH IS AND WHICH SIDE OF THE FACE I SHOULD FIX
