does anyone know where people place models for free download for others? or is there none? because i'm planning to donate a model, not too fancy or anything, for people to download, i also want to see other people's models and download ones that look interesting

the reason being is, laser lights. i'm trying to make tri laser lights for my predator models, and they aren't working with the lens flares. but maybe i will try to do as you said and sneak a light in between.

ok, i think i may know what the problem is, i just don't know how to fix it. i put the light in a pose for a model (on/ off), and the lights are klieg type, with a width of .4 cm and cone angle is 0 degrees. even though i'm looking directly at the light, i still can't see the lens flare.

i did do that, and still nothing, at least with the lens flare, maybe a step by step might help?

ok, i'm back to the pred models for now, and i think you should look at these helmets, they are a little old, and i need your opinion.
(sequence: Celtic helmet, chopper helmet, normal helmet, predator2 style helmet)

ok, here's a heads up on my next model, the alien ravager, from AvP Extinction, it's not done yet, but it almost is. here are some pics:
i did a close up of one of the big blades, so you could see the sharp, small "teeth" on the blade, just thought it might be cool to add these

i quickly took parts from my alien queen and alien drone models and made the alien runner, or the dog alien, not bad if you ask me.
i made a 30 second vid with sounds, of the dog alien inspecting the camera (lol)

thanks, i haven't seen you for a while either, good to see you again! i got the model done, the only thing it needs is textures and bones, so be aware that it will be put in a test video soon
i got the small mouth part done:
and the tail is also done:
i will get to work on the bones right away, keep it up with the coments and suggestions please

ok, thanks for the suggestions and compliments so far, i did make the hands and fingers a little bit more thicker, and i also added the lower torso (legs, and feet) here are some pictures:
yes, i know it looks sad without its tail, i'll get right to it

thanks guys, its good to know people appreciate my work, at least for now, lol. the intensity has been boosted up to 75%, and i have finished the upper torso
and yes, reflections are there, it's just hard to see them far away, they are at 75% reflectivity.

thanks for the compliments, and yes, it can be hard seeing the details in the side of the head because i modeled the details and made them small, here's a close up...
...and what percentage were you refering to on the intensity and size for the spec settings? in these next pictures (below and above) it is in 50% intensity and 150% size.
also, i have gotten the arms done
