  1. Have you had a look in my Skylights tutorial? I have one on Radiosity too! http://www.hash.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=15989 And there is the Radiosity Forum of course!
  2. Really impressed seeing this - perhaps your camera work is the best - cutting out a bit of "reality". How many hours have you used to build and animate this scene? To be a bit critical - doing something trying to look real - will be very hard - because every detail not fitting in will be distracting... Now I am sitting looking at the teeth all the time - bad teeth I am telling myself - it is too much spaces between them I believe...
  3. What kind of lighting do you use? Why not have a try with Skylighting and/or Radiosity?
  4. Why not upload your avatar - a nice bird - looks a little sleepy too! Have you rigged and lipsynched your bird? And Hutch has a nice avatar too! Perhaps it is not only a helmet... Some day maybe Hash will set up an A:M Models --- so we can upload our models - having some exchange of them - they are a bit slow working on it - but I believe they are working on it - so some sunny day - they will do it! I hope!
  5. Nice model! He seems a bit sleepy, but perhaps he is really old soon going to sleep in eternity? Just joking - really a good model and your way between cartoon and realism I believe is a good way... Perhaps you want to upload your model - so we all can play with it? Have a look here on my suggestion - a MODEL EXCHANGE forum: http://www.hash.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=16847
  6. Actually, it is Jean Chrétien former prime minister of Canada, who has this strange mouth "behaviour" because of paralysis. (modeled by Alain Desrochers) And here is a photo of the one having his caricature done by Alain Desrochers.
  7. So funny playing with a caricature and perhaps some props... so hard to quit the playing... why not exchanging models giving all of us more chances to play a bit more? The caricature George and some more caricatures and some props you can find on the extraCD to download here: http://www.hash.com/freemodels/ But why not a MODEL EXCHANGE forum? http://www.hash.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=16847
  8. Now poor Georg has gone really mad. What has happened? Too much dreams, too much greediness, too much money, too much energy, too many calculations, too much distance and to much closeness? He has lost his public - his illusions - his thoughts and feelings are not shared any longer - his public has got new illusions - new thoughts and feelings. Why will they never learn to empty their I:s from the thoughts and feelings - understanding/experiencing there are no concepts to have - no thoughts being able to think, no objects for their feelings. Everything being empty fullness - still having to have I:s - but on a new experience of... madcancanbush.mov
  9. Here he has got too much of the so called "modern" society or perhaps it is postmodern or it is deconstructed... I believe he has lost something here... in this moment... his beliefs in something... feelings for something... what can it be - he has lost?
  10. Or this distance - talking with his hands and body... I believe there is some smell in the air, too! But he is in a studio - coming on your telly - so do not be afraid - you cannot smell him!
  11. Perhaps this distance is better... sometimes... seeing his eyes a little bit better!
  12. And here a screen capture from the new performance:
  13. Here is a new one with Georg doing the CanCan... he having some trouble with the clothes... and perhaps the camera is still a bit far away... newcancanbush.mov
  14. Here Georg is coming animated dancing CanCan! He has got a bad mic so it is a bit hard to hear him rapping: CanCan c´est la vie pour moi et toi aussi! And not only the sound a bit bad - also I believe the camera is on a too long distance... A new one is coming... a more close-up... that one is nice... I think... It is really funny using the caricatures on the CD... I hope on more... having a MODEL EXCHANGE forum... not only for caricatures... but for all caracters and props... cancanbush.mov
  15. I found your Kerry model some hours ago having written about it here: http://www.hash.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=16847 What do you think about a MODELS EXCHANGE forum - that is my suggestion - now eg. your Kerry Model was a bit hard to find - searching - if you had been able to upload it I think it would be nice and we could exchange our models... PS The Kerry model looks good to me - but why not some decaling? I had a look on your site too - nice modeling and nice family photos...
  16. Thanks Rodney! I had a look on the CD and found the nice caricatures made by Alain Desrochers. So I had a try and lipsynched Georg. Here is a screen capture from the animation.
  17. Modeling caricatures is not so easy... I have had a try... Here is the result... Who is it? It is not Santa Claus! It is not Gandhi... Have a guess! Now there is only two caricatures on the A:M stills. You can have a search: http://www.hash.com/stills/thumbnails.php?...arch=caricature I believe in more caricatures... something for a newbie to download... and start to play with... why not have a little exchange of caricatures... upploading models! It can be "funny" to let different caricatures have some meeting - Santa Claus, Gandhi and some one else... what will they be talking about? It is up to everyones imagination to decide.
  18. Nice - someone trying to do a guide! Why not upload the guide as a .zip-file to the Software Tutorials Forum. And why not use free WINK - http://www.debugmode.com/wink/ - to explain something to us? WINK is easy and funny to use and you can tell all the steps in doing something. I believe not getting all the steps is the problem for the one wanting to know something. Showing all the steps with some text to explain them I found good. I do not believe you have to use video showing the mouse movements and having a voice to guide what is happening. I hope you will have a try with WINK or just upload your HTML-guide to the Software Tutorials Forum and a link to your blogg!
  19. This is for the topic on United Individuals on the OT Forum started in the beginning of August 2005 - and here is the animation: United_Individuals.mov
  20. I think Jim Talbot is the master modeler and he has some good tutorials - not perhaps on modeling but he has a really good face you can do some "cheating" with. Here is a link about it: http://www.hash.com/forums/index.php?showt...ndpost&p=124089 A little cheat of Michael Jackson´s head - the outside only... I am not so good on modeling... hope someone other can do it... And I do not really believe in modeling realistic - it will always be some puppet feeling over 3D models - so better hold on to that puppet feeling - more or less. I believe more in doing things as simple as possible - some Talking Pens are my way: http://www.hash.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=16426
  21. And a screen capture from the rendering of sprouts:
  22. Why not animate on POSITIVE alternatives for our world? Sprouts - I think is a really good alternative - to meat... Here an animation - an ad for sprouts: sprouts.mov
  23. Here is an other example - animating a little piece on Gandhi - did not took me very long! This is just the intro - and having had a little more time I could have used some props for the surroundings and everything could have been nicer... But to me this stripped version is good too! gandhi_told_us_nonviolence.mov
