Great tool!
Thanks!

Not bad!
Looks pretty good. Can you post some wires?
I myself would strive to add more detail. Model smaller parts to have added to the body, etc. Your texture maps look good.
I'm not a big fan of the new Star Wars movies.
I loved the original three.

I would like to get involved with a group. I live in the central valley near Merced. SF is about 1.5 hours away. Any chance having meetings east of the bay area? Livermore, Tracey? :-)
I would be able to attend some SF meetings. San Jose/mountain view is closer.
It would be cool to get together 3 to 4 times a year.

Wow! Nice character!
I look forward to seeing more of your work. Very well done.
Do you have any animations of him in action?
-
Shawn, I like ArmsAnimation.
You could do a cool logo with the letter A.
or have two arms somehow mixed in with the logo.
My vote is Arms Animation.
Good luck with your business!
(Oh if you need an A:M modeller/animator, I freelance)

Cool! I like the shifting of the feet before the jump.

NICE!
Lets see more....
Great job!

Great character! Reminds me of my 6th grade band teacher (less the blue hair).
Can you post wireframe images?
-
Just my $0.02....
I always use Forward Kinematics for arms/hands/fingers animating. It may just be me, but I feel I have better control.

Thanks for the great tutorial!
Now.... Time to animate Mr. Ball walking down....

Looking good!
I'm a "Sucker" for models created in A:M!
Keep the screenshots coming!

Nice animation work!
Can you give us more information on how you lit your scene? Number of lights, types, etc.
I really like the look!
Thanks,
Joseph

I do alot of modeling work for clients that use 3Ds Max, and Lightwave. Unfortunately A:M does not export very well to those applications without a ton of rework. Todays world of 3D, you have to use several applications in order to satisfy client's needs. I use several packages.
I agree, I would like to see improved IMPORT/EXPORT compatability with other applications. Specifically .3DS, LWO and DXF.
Animation:Master IS my favorite modeller, so I would like to use it more.
Just my $0.02

Looking good! I like it! Nice splinage.
Can you show some wireframes of the face and feet?
-
NICE!
Can you post a couple of wireframe images?
I would like to see how you "splined" this bad boy!
-
Bruce, I like it.
Nice particle effects, smoke, and the Bush head mapping.
I would like to see the animation refined a bit more, but other than that, its pretty good.

Great tutorial!

I love watching how others model, it inspires me to get better.

Very Nice! There appears to be a couple of jerky parts, but other than that, it looks very promising! Are you going to create a tutorial? I would like to try and play with creating an ocean scene someday.
Can you post a wire frame image? Are you going to render it with a realistic environment?
