  1. I like the landing! :D

A couple of crits: I would like to see the camera move a bit to give it a handheld look. Also once the landing gear rests on the ground, the body should settle down and compress the legs a bit to convey weight. But this is just my $0.02 worth :)

Its a great clip! I would love to see more!

  2. Thanks! It's designed from several pictures of different trains. I plan to add a coal car someday, but right now, I'm in the process of producing my demo reel. I will finish up the cabin, then move on to my next modeling example.

Thanks again for all your input!

  3. Whenever I try to render wireframe animations, I just get black frames.

I want the wireframe lines to be white, with a black background. Can someone give some advice? Maybe I'm overlooking a simple setting.

    Thanks in advance,

    Joseph

  4. Maybe I misunderstood, but I remember in some of the produced tutorials, they indicate not changing the spline bias control during modeling because as you animate, you will get "popping" and splines that appear to make sections of the surface jump. So...

My question is directed to the modelers & animators out there to see what their experiences with this subject may be, and to see if they can shed some light on the topic of using the spline bias control. I really want to use them, but if they cause problems during animation then I would like to find a solution.

    Thanks in advance,

    Joseph

  5. I'm posting this here, because I cannot post in the FAQ area (insufficient privledges).

I'm running version 10.5j on Windows 2000. Is there a way to have multiple views in the same window? I like the classic 4 view (front, top, left, perspective/camera) shown all at once. Can this be done with AM? Or maybe just two views (front and side)?

    Thanks in advance.
