#happy birthday to youuuu#
-
this is the anticipation part?
page me for follow through.
-
select one cp in the model and the bird's eye will rotate around that cp.
-
robcat, if you have the time,
i'd be curious to hear a little bit about your general workflow here.
just broad strokes, planning, and how the shortness/bulk played out?
good work!
-
wishing you many happy returns!
-
think of the ragged mass of criss-crossing lines that is Eugene's hand in a close-up,
turning, trying to pinpoint the right roll handle then turning again to control the curl.
all the while i could've selected the finger in PWS, hit r and used the blue ring...
-
lika a charm!
seems timing was everything. that ol' poser.
a rare tutorial, should be pinned or otherwise prominently placed.
thanks so much!
-
and the link appears broken?
tried brilliantisland, could not find this tut,
tried the Ward shader but could not dl that either?
is it just me again?
-
Irregular curved shapes can be had by using a transparency map to hide ragged corners of a grid.
one cage, rattled, check!
you're giving me ideas about how to direct fire.
thank you!
-
hey i've got that one! thanks guys!
i was wondering about x/y/z and spline behavior -
in the tut it says mesh should preferably consist of squares,
but i can make a half moon shaped cloak that'll still have
somewhat square patches (by varying the density)
but the splines modeled x-wise will hang in y when i drop
the cloak on. am i crazy just thinking this or are you
curious whether this might actually work?
-
(my best headline yet. yay.)
it's about cloth.
spring systems are in the past?
what is the new fabric making technique called,
i don't know what to search for here?
is there a date/version nr to search by as well -
as in, newer than?
-
excuse me -
does this apply for Eugene?
-
sincere thank you again!
you see, hair -> feather is still news to some.
-
Wow, quite a realistic and detailed lower face. Look at those teeth!
i can read his emotional state = muscle tension from the shape of the mouth.
that's almost a little scary!
-
you're cute when you blush!
but what's this i hear about premature yaying?
my yays are timely and with strong proportions.
had to crack that prj open despite weekly weekend work stupor;
did not, repeat: not, comprehend a thing, but it's cloth isn't it -
means all i need are chalk, scissors, needle and a thread and then
it's another tweakathon week!
noticed lack of displacement maps (with relief).
the materials were a mystery, the white attribute especially so.
guessing this is one of those nesting operations. very interesting!

11 Eugenes to dress.
and it ain't about walk cycles.
please someone do something soon-ish?
pixels preferred, text AND image.
-
(this is a shangri-la)
a capital yay. thank you very much. YAY!
-
what a pearl.
you've probably just added days to my life. thanks!
-
that thread was tough just reading, but this:
since the dupe model only adds the visual detail of a different textureimplies it's specifically for double sided "model"? or i'm misunderstanding something..?
-
hot dagnabbit you're quick.
i'm making the everlovin' classic of all times, the reaper cloak.
heavy-ish dense wool. yes you will see the inside.
-
could someone simply confirm/deny that this method:
http://www.hash.com/forums/index.php?s=&am...st&p=199541
is/isn't viable this year, this version?
thank you!

There is a situation with simulating cloth where you need "aero" to be on to see the simulation (hence the "dont' turn off "aero" " checkbox in Options).
oi!
please elaborate? in another thread? what situation?
-
That's very odd. I've never heard of anyone having that problem before.
Perhaps it's a browser cache thing or... you may have inadvertently set a forum topic filter that hides it?
odd: the next study session after posting (maybe an hour later?), i couldn't see any uploaded content;
jpg's are usually right there without login, now remarkably absent. i simply chose to take it personally
and ignored it. next session, 2hrs? later - jpg's were back.
introducing surfer's OCD; i clean cache compulsively mid session.
i prefer the "today's active topics" link here.
looked for filters, could not locate them, don't know what they are. haven't touched any of that stuff backstage.
but if it's only my explorer - no oddities, sorry for the trouble..

Benefits of membership.
oh i get that, what puzzles is that it doesn't come up after login, but after a while!
if i post, it appears, but if reading (click a thread > click "Hash Inc Forums" on top of page)
it might take a couple of threads/clicks to surface.
so good thing i got to post, gotta read robcat on Win7 - preparing a temporary move
to a quad monstahh

adding a thank you for surreal inspiration!
