As a brand new user of TSM2 I am probably going to have a few questions about what I can and can't do so to avoid hasseling the Anzovin crew at this busy time I am posting here to hopefully gain some insight from experienced users.

Question: When fitting a skeleton to a model is it essential to only use the Scale (S) and Move (M) commands or can you click and drag a bone as normal? The documentation only mentions the S and M commands so I am assuming that I sould not deviate from that practice but I would like to get that straight incase it leads to a problem in the rig further down the setup procedure.

Thank you for any enlightenment.

S and "N" allow you to scale and move the bone with it's children. Of course, you can just grab the ends of the bone and move them, but take care not to mess up the relationship with it's children. Follow how Raf does it in the video and you should be fine.

Actually, it's not directing to the page I want....

On the above page click on Anzovin Studio Store link. Then click the last link of that page.

Direct link to Raf's tutorial.

Generally, you shouldn't have any problems with moving individual bones around the usual way -- it's just often more convenient to manipulate bone chains with the move/scale tools. Thanks for pointing that out, I'll make sure that's clarified in the next version of the manual.

One thing we're working on is updating the TSM web pages--right now they are old, old, old, with bad links galore. I'll keep you all posted.

Look for all important links and info also to appear in this forum.
