anzovin Posted July 7, 2004 Posted July 7, 2004 A quickie screenshot of the The Setup Machine Builder plug-in. TSM Builder lets you specify parameters, such as number of arms, for any body plan, then lays down the bones right in A:M. The TSM Flipper plug-in mirrors the bones and TSM Rigger does the constraints and controls. The Biped tab covers standard variations for humans and humanoids. Quadruped is for animals, Multiped is for bugs, centipedes, and other oddball body plans, and Parts constructs single parts so you can assemble them yourself into anything you can think of. <http://www.anzovin.com/TSM2/TSMBuilderscreenshot.gif> And here are some sample movies of new rig features. The stretch movie shows squash and stretch on an arm rig. The tail movie shows automated lag; you can set the degree of lag with a slider. The wing movie shows a nice bat wing. <http://www.anzovin.com/TSM2/stretch2.mov> <http://www.anzovin.com/TSM2/tail2.mov> <http://www.anzovin.com/TSM2/wing2.mov> More soon..... animaster Posted July 7, 2004 Posted July 7, 2004 From: "anzovin@rcn.com" anzovin@rcn.com Date: 2004-7-7 09:16:08 In any case, Anzovin Studio no longer develops a rigging solution for LW. LW is a very inferior tool for character animation. Steve Anzovin Studio >From: c-wheeler : Chris Wheeler : > > I switched to LW back at ver 9.5, but hated it. I did like sasquatch and the speed of the renderer though. AM 10/11 is much easier for animation > >*** View Entire Thread @ http://www.hash.com/forums/index.php?showt...ew=3Dgetnewpost >Hash, Inc. adamjames Posted July 7, 2004 Posted July 7, 2004 Steve, Will the Maya version of TSM2.0 be released at the same time? Adam Quote
anzovin Posted July 7, 2004 Author Posted July 7, 2004 No, TSM for Maya is on a whole separate development track, and out of courtesy to Hash I wouldn't discuss it here anyway. Steve Anzovin Studio Quote
mooncaine Posted July 8, 2004 Posted July 8, 2004 Simply amazing. As a happy TSM user, I look forward to the opportunity to purchase the upgrade, or new version, from you when it becomes available. Please continue the excellent work. Quote

The exact cutoff date has not yet been set. I tried the free upgrade and my serial was invalid, how do I know if I meet or missed the cut-off? Enquiring minds want to know...... Sorry, Mark, the free upgrade program is over. Your order of TSM1 on March 30 was outside the program's date window. But if you decide to upgrade anyway, please contact me directly. We can make special arrangements for customers who bought TSM1 close to that date window expecting to get TSM2 for free, but fell outside the program because of the delay in shipping the product. Also, old serials for TSM1 do not work with TSM2. Thanks, Steve Anzovin Studio Quote
