On the properties tab you will find the User Properties - expand it and you will see all your sliders there. Right-click and delete away! I think almost everyone gets confused on this one. Alexey. 3. From: "James Hash" james@hash.com Date: 2004-5-17 13:21:17 Hey Jon, I am assuming you only get the splash screen and then flashes off. If you are on a PC go ahead and press the shift key down as you double click the icon. Keeping the shift key pressed until the program loads you then can go to the tools > options menu and choose the Global tab. At the bottom you will see a "real-time driver" pull menu. The default is Open GL. Switch to D3D to see if this runs better for you. You will need at least Direct 3d version 9 from the Microsoft web site for this to work. Grabbing all the latest video card drivers and windows updates help also. On a Mac, usually this problem occurs when you are running a lower version of the Mac os, say 8 or higher. Upgrading would help this. Let me know if you have any other questions/problems. James ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jonathan Goldberg" To: Sent: Monday, May 17, 2004 1:05 PM Subject: Help! It was a sudden problem, I can't see anything triggering it. All of a sudden yesterday I went to open A:M and the CD spools up but the program doesn't actually open. It can't be a problem with the CD drive because it would have then asked for the CD. The farthest it gets to is the first stage right before the cartoon guys show up while the program loads. > > I did a FULL uninstall (regedit, etc) and then reinstalled (with the newer version 11) and the problem is recurring. > > I can't go one more day without A:M =) Please help me. > > Thanks! > Jon > > *** View Entire Thread @ http://www.hash.com/forums/index.php?showt...view=getnewpost > www.hash.com/support/maillist.asp ===

  6. From: scuthbert@comcast.net sydney Date: 2004-3-26 18:14:09 Thanx, Steve. All things considered, if slightly longer download times are the worst thing we Hashers have to deal with, I think we're still light-years ahead of the game. For what it's worth, for all the packages I've sampled, and/or diddled around with, A:M comes the closes to the Holy Grail of one man, one machine, one movie. > ** Original Subject: RE: $$$ V11.0 Beta 4 $$$ > ** Original Sender: "Steven Sappington" > ** Original Date: Fri, 26 Mar 2004 23:09:42 +0000 > ** Original Message follows... > Don't forget about the ftp mirror: ftp.hashmirror.com it's much faster than ftp.hash.com > HOWEVER, I find out about the new versions the same time you guys do, and it takes the same time it > takes you guys to download it, to get it over to the mirror, so don't immediately run over to the > mirror, or you'll get the old version- > ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jeff Lee" > To: > Sent: Friday, March 26, 2004 2:30 PM > Subject: RE: $$$ V11.0 Beta 4 $$$ > > At 05:02 PM 3/26/2004 -0500, scuthbert@comcast.net wrote: > > > > >Does anyone know offhand why a cable hookup that regularly downoads around > > >300k or so defaults to roughly 15k when downloading the latest A:M > > >update? TO answer a few questions, I'll post a couple of wireframes as soon as I get a moment, I'm leaning towards texturing her body using decals rather than feathers, as when I add feathers she ends up looking a bit like a gorilla with a beak. If I can figure out a way of placing feathers so that it looks good I will though.... Re: her beak, I'll try and make the beak/face separation a little more definate. I really appreciate peoples positive comments. I'll post more detail as it gets done.
