But I don't get a scary feeling when I look at your image, I think overall it's a bit too bright..You seem to like the idea of the green mist then I think you should let it drive the mood of the scene, let that be the brightest then have everything else fade in contrast; getting darker and darker.. The trees to the far left and right their roots should not be seen in my opinion, Make the viewer wonder what's in the dark...... hope this helps, Keep up the good work. HeadlessBill Posted May 28, 2004 Share Posted May 28, 2004 It does look very good. Though I do have to reiterate that it does seem a bit bright. Some suggestions that might make it spookier (in my opinion). I think that the fog should get darker where it gets denser rather than brighter (I have no idea how to do that with volumetrics, though). It might help in creating the spooky feeling more spookier. Also, for composition, I might move the camera just off one side of the path and aim it towards just off the opposite side of the path. I`m at work at the moment so haven`t got time to go into detail but the project is for kids so I don`t want the forest to be too scary but, I agree, it does need to be darker.
