lazz Posted May 3, 2004 Posted May 3, 2004 Ok so, I'm working on a school project and I'm having some trouble. I haven't had too much experience in the choreography window. I have an action where my character is walking (and its constrained to a path). Then I want him to stop and do another action. What I've been doing is importing the other action after the first one is complete. But instead of stopping, both actions end up occuring on the same path. And instead of the first action finishing at the end of the path, it finishes in the middle. And the part where he is supposed to stop ends up taking place over the rest of the path. I tried to explain it clearly. If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it a lot. Thanks Robert Lazzarini (P.S> would anyone know how to make a website or if there is any place where I can post short actions I've made?) Quote
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted May 3, 2004 Hash Fellow Posted May 3, 2004 I believe ( I don't have A:M up to check) this has something to do with "ease" Add your first action, then set the "ease" in the properties for the path constraint to 0% at the beginning and 100% at the end Then when you add your second action, the first one's duration on the path won't get changed. I think... Quote

animaster Posted May 17, 2004 Posted May 17, 2004 From: "James Hash" james@hash.com Date: 2004-5-17 13:21:17 Hey Jon, I am assuming you only get the splash screen and then flashes off. If you are on a PC go ahead and press the shift key down as you double click the icon. Keeping the shift key pressed until the program loads you then can go to the tools > options menu and choose the Global tab. At the bottom you will see a "real-time driver" pull menu. The default is Open GL. Switch to D3D to see if this runs better for you. You will need at least Direct 3d version 9 from the Microsoft web site for this to work. Grabbing all the latest video card drivers and windows updates help also. On a Mac, usually this problem occurs when you are running a lower version of the Mac os, say 8 or higher. Upgrading would help this. Let me know if you have any other questions/problems. James ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jonathan Goldberg" To: Sent: Monday, May 17, 2004 1:05 PM Subject: Help! It was a sudden problem, I can't see anything triggering it. All of a sudden yesterday I went to open A:M and the CD spools up but the program doesn't actually open. It can't be a problem with the CD drive because it would have then asked for the CD. The farthest it gets to is the first stage right before the cartoon guys show up while the program loads. > > I did a FULL uninstall (regedit, etc) and then reinstalled (with the newer version 11) and the problem is recurring. > > I can't go one more day without A:M =) Please help me. > > Thanks! > Jon > > *** View Entire Thread @ http://www.hash.com/forums/index.php?showt...view=getnewpost > www.hash.com/support/maillist.asp === Quote
