I was able to load your PRJ, which seems not to require any images.

Does the error say which image IO was missing?   like jpg? tga? etc...

I tried rendering again and this time I tried rendering single images. The problem is that when I select a file extension, the software leaves out a letter and makes the render unsavable.

For example I tried rendering a "png " file and the file only adds anerror_Message.jpg "ng" after the period in the filename... making the file unsavable and thus the error message.

Can anyone duplicate this bug?

I'm finding that the software adds the file names incorrectly for other extensions besides just "png"s.

For "tga" it adds .ic instead of .tga.???

hmmm... I'd be curious to see a screencam of this happening, beginning with setting the filename.

After conferring, we found that @Tom 's A:M was behaving oddly.

If he went to Render to File and left the "Format" as default AVI,  then went to the  Filename dialog...

... to set a file "Type" there, such as .tga...

... that would cause A:M to append a fictious .ic file type when saving a render (and fail because there is no .ic type)  instead of the .tga he wanted.

I'll note that in my A:M I get a different behavior. Trying to set a file type in the filename dialog has no effect at all! The Filetype will always be what was set in "Format"

The work-around is to always use the drop-down list at "Format" to choose a file type, and to not select a filetype in the filename dialog

In addition, the "Set" option lets you set any parameters that are peculiar to a format, such as compression, or bit depth.
