Wildsided Posted April 11 Posted April 11 It is pretty sad. Maybe they're still stinging after Space Jam 2 was such a flop. Wile E suing Acme for all the times he nearly died using their equipment is a great concept, so long as they don't lean too hard into the cheesy overacted comedy like they did with Looney Tunes back in action. Guess we'll never know unless somebody "accidentally leaks" it. Quote
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted April 11 Author Hash Fellow Posted April 11 I'm surprised it got green-lit at all. The concept might be a great one but is there an audience for a big-budget movie about a 2D animated character? Looney Tunes haven't been on Saturday morning TV (in the US) for more than 20 years so that audience familiarity is gone. I wonder if anyone well below middle-age remembers the Coyote and Acme. And, as you note, the last few 2D + live action outings have not done well. I'm surprised it got green-lit at all. But i love that picture of the Coyote. It looks like they get it. Quote
