Fuchur Posted February 14, 2022 Posted February 14, 2022 It really is fun to see how fast it is with 16 cores / 32 threads, isn't it? Best regards *Fuchur* Quote
*A:M User* Shelton Posted February 15, 2022 Author *A:M User* Posted February 15, 2022 It really is amazing. so I had only 12 cores running with everything and the core temp never went above 36.5 Celsius. It took the animation of 504 frames to render in 1920 x 1080 3:25:28 I rendered the 21 sec animation with one core and temp never got above 32 Celsius it took about 8 hours but only 960 x 540. Netrender is a powerfull tool and the main thing is build the preset before you render. Hope to have the final render with cloth, hair and dynamics shortly for your review. Quote
*A:M User* Shelton Posted April 9, 2022 Author *A:M User* Posted April 9, 2022 Today I rolled to Windows 11. All the software I use now has been update or already ran under 11. So I decided to redo the Teapot benchmark. I am official under 1 minute now. 58-59 per frame. Unfortunately I did not save a copy of the screen shot. this is with the AMD 5950X processor. Tonight I will test the teapot with the I9 12900k machine I just finished building. Loading all the software and will post the results once I have it all completed. Steve Quote
