johnl3d Posted July 6, 2018 Posted July 6, 2018 superthom.avi Playing with cloth as a cape for superthom.... not fine tuned Quote
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted July 6, 2018 Hash Fellow Posted July 6, 2018 You can get a less frantic result with the cloth if you start it away from the model for a second then bring it closer before your action starts. Quote
johnl3d Posted July 6, 2018 Author Posted July 6, 2018 Thanks it acts really strange if touching the ground before thom takes off...it sticks to the floor... will play with this more Quote
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted July 6, 2018 Hash Fellow Posted July 6, 2018 Raising the "damping" on stretch and bend parameters will calm the cloth down also. Setting the "Drag" to between 0.1 and 1 will get a more cape-like billow as he moves, I think. Quote
johnl3d Posted July 7, 2018 Author Posted July 7, 2018 test2_mpeg2video.mpg made a couple of adjustments...somewhat better results but I'll play with a simpler setup then transfer it to a more complex model Quote
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted July 7, 2018 Hash Fellow Posted July 7, 2018 I still suspect the cloth is too close to his shoulders at the beginning. Quote
