Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted December 11, 2017 Hash Fellow Share Posted December 11, 2017 I saw that. It's insane. How does that happen "by mistake" without someone on the inside doing it intentionally?
pixelplucker
I think lenovo got in trouble with doing the same thing when they sold some laptops to the USA gov. Wonder if its in the system for one the components rather than just a brand issue? ATI and NVIDIA both have options to broadcast what you have on screen perhaps a driver like that or maybe for a cd drive or audio could be the vulnerability? In any case I been happy with my Dell. I kind of wish Sony stayed in the game, they gave you an option for a clean install stripped down install of the OS with no apps. As far as hacks and cracks, I recently removed the supposed fix for intel chips on my laptop because it ground the machine to a hault. Microsofts genius solution of In the event you may get a flat on the front right of your car, we will just remove the wheel theory fell far short of my expectations as a solid fix. No matter what system you buy, simply removed the junk it comes with, clean the registry, defrag and create a set of backup discs if it didn't come with some already. I wouldn't worry about hacks, cracks and malware at that point and as long as your not trudging through the Internet looking at naughty bits you should be ok.
