starving4rtist Posted March 31, 2004 Posted March 31, 2004 just started doodling, only about an hour of work so far. Lots of tweaks and modeling left to do. Quote
Zaryin Posted March 31, 2004 Posted March 31, 2004 Almost all of my characters come from "doodling". It looks great -- now finish it! Quote
ChrisThom Posted March 31, 2004 Posted March 31, 2004 It kind of looks like one of those lizard guys from the original Star Trek series. Quote
brockgs Posted March 31, 2004 Posted March 31, 2004 I like it. I agree with Chris, definitely has that feel of a B movie Lizard Man, could definitely have a lot of character and fun with it. Almost also feels a little more "bird-like" with the ridged brow and sharper angles along the snout reminding me of an agressive eagle. Quote
starving4rtist Posted March 31, 2004 Author Posted March 31, 2004 thanks for the replies. More modeled = more tweaking to do... Quote
Ross Smith Posted April 1, 2004 Posted April 1, 2004 Hmm... looks like he's going to walk upright. Do you have a design sketch or summat for this guy? I'm curious what you have in mind for the rest of his body. (Okay, so he's a doodle... but I usually doodle in two dimensions before I expand it to three and four. ) Quote
starving4rtist Posted April 1, 2004 Author Posted April 1, 2004 Thanks for the replies so far! Ross - Yes, he'll walk upright. I actually have no idea how he's going to turn out, right now I'm just modeling what comes to me, as you can see by the newest pic... Quote
modernhorse Posted April 1, 2004 Posted April 1, 2004 It kind of looks like one of those lizard guys from the original Star Trek series Yeah at first i was thinking the same thing - GORN ! Loved that guy. But now he's(she's)evolving into something different. I dig the cables too. Sort of looks like he may have survived an atomic holocaust. Keep on! Doug Quote
