(Resolved) How can you turn off gestures in Win 10?

I recently snagged a little 2:1 laptop from Dell and some of my illustration programs get confused with the gestures. Mainly the tap and arrange makes it almost impossible to click and drag like a normal mouse function.

There used to be options to turn gestures off but I can't find it under 10.

help?

I don't have win10 but I googled "how to turn off gestures in windows 10". I got:

  1. Open the Control Panel (icons view), and click/tap on the Mouse icon.
  2. In Mouse Properties, click/tap on the Device Settings tab, and click/tap on the Settings button.
  3. Check (enable) or uncheck (disable) the Enable Edge Swipes option, and click/tap on OK.
  4. Click/tap OK in Mouse Properties.

Many other links come up - hope this helps

I think the setting you are refering there to Nancy is only meant for Edge (which is the internet browser of windows 10).

I am not sure if this can help, but it may work more or less the same with touch displays?

I seem to be missing those options other than the edge swipes. I tried compatibility mode and ran the troubled programs as win 7 but that doesn't work either because compatibility mode doesn't change or override inputs.

Did I ever mention I hate Win 8-10? Poorly thought out as usual.

Guess my other resorts is to either to hook up a Wacom tablet or figure out a registry hack...

If you guys do find a better way let me know.

Thanks
