johnl3d Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 doodle.mov just wondering why light in the center shows up since the other models have it inside the model to shine through the "glass" bodies doodle.prj Quote
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted February 6, 2016 Hash Fellow Posted February 6, 2016 That's odd. I tried the PRJ. The only lights should be the ones in the aliens", right? Even if you change the "population" down to zero that light is still there. It's as if the "swarm" is a light itself. Quote
johnl3d Posted February 7, 2016 Author Posted February 7, 2016 Glad you see the same thing I do I might try it with different light settings later Quote
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted February 7, 2016 Hash Fellow Posted February 7, 2016 I think something is wrong with flocking in general. It should be possible to produce something other than this very jittery motion that always seems to end up collecting in the center, but the settings don't seem to offer much alternative. Quote
johnl3d Posted February 8, 2016 Author Posted February 8, 2016 I believe the issue is the lens flare ..when I change the light in the alien to lens flare I get the one showing in the middle where no flare should be.. no lens flare try just light doodle1.mov different lens flare then one in first post doodle2.mov I should try this without the swarm setup doodle3.mov 3 models on path ...not sure why it ends as it did doodle3.prj Quote
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted February 8, 2016 Hash Fellow Posted February 8, 2016 Yup, it looks like the swarm container has accidentally acquired some properties of a light. Quote
