there must be a way to get rid of the sudden jump in the sign.

 

Also i see a very slight rectangle around "Merry Christmas". Is that an alpha channel problem?

The jump I have to work on ....the original idea was to have the sign on a floating panel if you watch the elf drags it along the screen with a white rope just made the flag almost transparent ...used it as a action object but will probably change that
