Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted December 8, 2013 Hash Fellow Posted December 8, 2013 This doesn't have lots to do with animation but I find it an interesting visual reference of someone waiting to do something.... 6dI-S77-jIY Quote

Simon Edmondson Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 This doesn't have lots to do with animation but I find it an interesting visual reference of someone waiting to do something.... 6dI-S77-jIY Robert I have just reread the Ed Hooks book "acting for animators". One of the points he makes in the text is that a person or character is never, 'not doing something', they are always in transition from or to an action or emotion. This clip illustrates that beautifully. The actions are not large but the concentration is, he's fully aware of what is going on around and anticipating and engaging in his part of it. great clip. thank you for posting it. regards simon Quote

KJ'd Beast Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 Rob, Really cool, funny insight on some of the twelve principles of animation. Specifically, anticipation, arcs, and timing but many others in there subtlety. Quote
