Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted October 11, 2012 Hash Fellow Posted October 11, 2012 Small crowd but good Q&A thanks for flagging that Rodney! Quote
Admin Rodney Posted October 11, 2012 Author Admin Posted October 11, 2012 That was some really short notice but I'm glad I got to be there. Some nice tips and experience was shared. The video is suppose to be posted by next Monday so for those that missed it hopefully you'll be able to see it next week. It was nice to see some familiar faces there. Quote
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted October 12, 2012 Hash Fellow Posted October 12, 2012 Most interesting comment... Story Artist is really the only job left in animation in the US where you still draw. Also interesting that they (Dreamworks) have a whole department tasked with turning their storyboard drawings into animatics. That sure would be helpful. I remember trying to do that for TWO. Quote
Admin Rodney Posted October 17, 2012 Author Admin Posted October 17, 2012 The webinar interview with David Wolter has now been placed online for those who were unable to attend: In some ways this will be more optimal than watching live because images have been added that were not in the original webinar. Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted October 17, 2012 Hash Fellow Posted October 17, 2012 I liked his idea of scoring your shots for difficulty, then doing the medium ones first, then the hard ones, and then the easy ones last. Quote

Yes! I liked that too. In fact, I liked it enough to share with someone else via email. Quote
