I Didn't Know Sev Trek Was Done With A:M

I was just scanning around for Star Trek parody sites and clicked on Sev Trek, wondering what had ever become of it. It looks like it finally was abandoned a few years ago. I had mixed feelings about the site back in the day. I thought it was often funny, but I disliked that they used Simpsons character designs for the characters. It seemed unnecessarily unoriginal.

 

Anway, I do remember that they did a 3D animated version and I remember being very impressed at the time. Imagine my surprise now to discover that it was done using A:M!

 

Forty-one minutes is an impressive running time, too.

 

Do any of you old-timers remember the events surrounding it? I gather the animator was a member of this forum. It looks like they started a second feature about dogs robbing a museum called "Dognabit" and there's a post on the forum for people interested in working on it, but it was halted and never finished.

 

Curious if anyone has any info on it.

I have dim memories of it. I recall some of it being shown at the Hash Bash at a Siggraph around 10 years ago
