Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted May 25, 2010 Hash Fellow Posted May 25, 2010 Make that tree drop a lot faster when he lets go of it. Your animation is getting better! Quote
HomeSlice Posted May 25, 2010 Posted May 25, 2010 Hey nice piece! Your camera work is getting better too. Like Robcat said, the tree branch should drop a lot faster when he lets go of it. Quote
kwhitaker Posted May 25, 2010 Author Posted May 25, 2010 thanks guys. i'll speed up the branch drop. Quote
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted May 26, 2010 Hash Fellow Posted May 26, 2010 two rules of dropping things. -they will always look weird if they just move to the ground at a constant speed no matter how fast they go. Falling things always speed up as the fall, unless they have high air drag like a piece of cloth. - Don't just stop at the ground, most things will bounce a little. That tree will shudder or shake or something after it hits. Just slightly. It won't bounce like a rubber ball. Quote
kwhitaker Posted May 27, 2010 Author Posted May 27, 2010 Thank you for your suggestion robcat, i decided the branch should break as it's dropped, there wasn't a lot of falling distance, but i did angle the branch to one side as it fell. Quote
