Ben28 Posted March 5, 2009 Posted March 5, 2009 So I was reading a bunch of older post's and it talked about excersize 11.5 making a face. I was just wondering if anyone know's where that excersize went? I can't find it anywhere. Ben. Quote
Admin Rodney Posted March 5, 2009 Admin Posted March 5, 2009 Ben, As far as I know Exercise 11.5 is still right there between Exercise 11 and 12 in the manual. It's quite useful for those who want to learn how to model realistic humans. For various reasons the exercise was never quite incorporated into the TaoA:M cannon. But it is there in the manual. Here is the search results for Exercise 11.5 found here in the forum. You are sure to find some interesting information. Everyone tends to start their own topic when they try to tackle Exercise 11.5. Its probably to post Ex 11.5 that way as you'll get more specific feedback. If you have the Extra DVD you have this exercise extended beyond just the face. Well worth looking into. As much as its important to be able to model a face I'd suggest modeling some simpler things first. Quote

Ben28 Posted March 5, 2009 Author Posted March 5, 2009 you may want to check out the uncondensed version of the tut: http://web.archive.org/web/20080201095824/...t/CoopFace.html Robcat, Thanks for the link. So, I started in on the eye's, I figures I'm put them on my fish body. But I'm having some weird thing happening. When I try to make the eye, it comes out "box like" not smooth like an eye is supposed to be. Same with my fish body! Any thoughts? I'll Post some pics. Ben. Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted March 5, 2009 Hash Fellow Posted March 5, 2009 "Page Up" and "Page Down" control real-time subdivision. If you post JPGs instead of BMPs it will take up way less server space and people can see them without downloading. Quote
Ben28 Posted March 6, 2009 Author Posted March 6, 2009 Robcat, Thanks a zillion, that worked. Ben. Quote
