AMkyle Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 Alright so anyways, im using my laptop with the subscription on, and i think this character is coming out very nicely, looks smooth, awsome eyes i made with help from a tut and some stuff just learned recently from some awsome people here. Anyways, i just am having a blockage, i cant figure out how to model some spline's into making some shoulders, some legs, and arms. Does anyone have a tut or just some hints you can give me on how i can creat the arms, legs and shoulders??? Im most stuck on the shoulders btw. Just cant seem what'll fit for this guy. Anyways, heres a snapshot of him (in render mode) Character_in_progress.bmp Quote
Gerry Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 Do you have front and side drawings of the character to use for rotoscopes? Quote
AMkyle Posted December 30, 2008 Author Posted December 30, 2008 i never actually tougt about this guy, i just thought if it in my head i guess i could try drawing him and try some legs and shoulders and arms Ok, i drew him up a bit and got an idea for legs and arms, i currently have made some arms (without shoulders or hands) Anyways here some pictures of the arm and side views EDIT::: Character Left side view and Right side view And right here is the Arm i made (front and top view) Quote
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted December 30, 2008 Hash Fellow Posted December 30, 2008 As far as just the splining task of attaching arms... you have done the giraffe tut in TAoAM, that shows how to splice on body parts, right? And there's Colin Freeman tut out there for doing a human body. Maybe that's in TAoAM now too? Quote
AMkyle Posted December 30, 2008 Author Posted December 30, 2008 as a matter of fact, no i have not done the giraffe tut, that could definitely help i think, and where could i find the human splining tut? Quote
