TheSpleen Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 I designed myself a new character today. Very happy with him but............ when I go to render him I get this................ I know it is a toon render. but his entire body and all the rest of him are not tooned! only his face! So I started with the nose of another character, that nose must have had the toon settings set on it. How in the world do I turn this off??????????? I have a half toon/half 3d character LOL Quote
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted November 22, 2008 Hash Fellow Posted November 22, 2008 Are you sure it isn't tooned? Black toon lines on a black shape won't be very visible Quote

Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted November 22, 2008 Hash Fellow Posted November 22, 2008 Is the material on the hands a different one than the material on the face? Quote

TheSpleen Posted November 22, 2008 Author Posted November 22, 2008 MemphisWORKINGmodel.mdl the skin texture is missing, it wont let me upload tga Quote
NancyGormezano Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 The problem is the setting for diffuse falloff in the surface properties of the model - it was set to 0% and it needs to be set to 100%. You also might want to change the roughness scale as well - to 100%. This model was created in a previous version, so sometimes the settings get messed up. Also if you want to upload non-standard files (like tga, mdl) to the forum - you can put them in a zip file Quote
