so im looking at my vista 64 install and it seems to be the same. is it possible that the extras DVD was never linked to its materials folder? at this point im creating a new folder and creating short cuts to the materials.

It looks like libraries go in the data folder. You may have to map the path from Tools/Options/Folders and select the libraries in the data folder.

Start by looking in your Data folder to make sure all the library items are in there. If not I think you can just copy from the install disc. I'm not the expert on this, hope it helps!
