hey all, I was having a problem exporting models to 3ds including textures, but finally i managed to do it successfully. The problem I'm facing now is that i want to pack all the decals used in separate jpg file into one image and then export the model with its pack textures so i can load it successfully because when i export my model, only one decal is used and the other are ignored, so exporting a solo texture for all the model will solve the issue. So is there a way to pack the texture in only one image. I've used the generate bitmap but it was unsuccessful. can someone help?

I recommend using the .obj export instead of the .3ds export. The obj tends to be more stable and preserve texture better, and pretty much anything that will import .3ds will import .obj

Even better is the *.x-exporter... (see siganture)

But yes: OBJ is better than 3ds... 3ds is a triangual format... quadformats are better suited...
