Resetting CPU = lose license?

Ok...long story short, I had a "fraud identity theft" happen to me last week. Not fun. So, I was told that maybe my CPU has a "rootkit" which reads you credit card orders, etc and send them off. So, I'm wanting to reset / format my computer and reload everything (fun huh?). However, if I do that, I lose the license key for AM15 right? How do I go about doing this so I don't have to repurchase this?? I've written the "shop online support" and never heard anything back. Anyone know what to do??

I am not sure on this but you key is keyed to you computer so if you re-install it on the same computer it should work.

Yeah, just contact Hash and they'll get you back-n-runnin whenst the time comes for it.

I'm pretty sure the AM license is tied to your hardware, so even if you reformat the hard drive and re-install the OS, you should still be able to install AM and enter the same registration code you used the first time. ... but cross your fingers, just in case.

Thanks for all the help and suggestions. It's been a VERY trying time lately getting everything back in order financially. Hope this never happens to anyone else. It's real pain to deal with.
