"leaking" patches?

i was going to render something in the dark with a model of mine, having glowing eyes. but for some odd reason, the glowing color of the eyes seem to "leak" out some cracks.... is there a solution?

you must zoom to actually see the problem...

Here's acouple of things you might check:

1) Check the normals of your model and make sure they are all pointing out.

2) Make sure you have continuous splines, not splines that end and then continue with another spline

3) Rework the splines around the eyes just a bit, so you don't have those splines dead end in the middle of the mesh.

IF you were showing us a front view of the croc (above) and IF you have applied some bump or displacement to your alligators skin THEN a:m is doing a very good job of showing you the glow bouncing off the texture of the skin... IF NOT, then I dunnoh.
