Here is a QuickTime link to my short "Marboxian." Some of you may have seen this at the Hash film show at SIGGRAPH; Ottawa; or one of a few other screenings. It's picked up a couple of minor awards, and audiences -- including, I'm told, a roomful of very sleepy children, once -- seem to like it.

Link.

Two warnings: First, the file is 114MB (12 minutes at good quality). Second, it's hosted through my cable modem, and I can't guarantee decent bandwidth. (Mike Muncy's been great to me, but I really can't afford the kind of bandwidth I'd need to host it off his servers. Or... much else right now. *sigh*)

Keep democratizing-

Tried to download 3 or 4 times with no success  :(

it sounds good

Define "no success." My connection's pretty sluggish right now, suggesting you're not the only one trying. What's going wrong? Is the connection timing out? Is the download interrupting, or stalling? This is a pretty spit-and-bailing-wire approach to hosting the clip, so I'm sure there are kinks. Let me know what's happening-

I've been downloading for about 2 hours so far and I'm 30% done. Pretty sluggish... And I may have to shutdown. Maybe you should ask if someone with the bandwidth available would be willing to mirror it for you.

I've zipped the QuickTime file down to 92MB. Not a big change, but perhaps a bit more manageable. Zack, nice thought; know anyone?

At any rate, thanks for trying, everyone-

I'm curious to see it, but had no success in even getting to a link that would start a download. :(

One thought... A $10/month account with a website hoster would get you space and bandwidth for something like this. Of course, getting someone to mirror it for free would be cheaper. ;)
