flashawd Posted January 2, 2008 Posted January 2, 2008 Hi - my next practice model is going to be a Tucan, and I have searched all over for pictures - and found some great ones, but can't seem to find any with their mouths open, to where I could see what the inside of their mouth looks like. Any Tucan experts out there. Does anyone happen to know if they have a short, small or long skinny tongue? Any good pic links would be appreciated. There was this link - it looks like a long skinny tongue, but not sure if it was something he was eating... Pic of Tucan w/ Mouth open Thank you - Eric Quote
Rooky Animator Posted January 2, 2008 Posted January 2, 2008 Toucans have long skinny tongues but i don't have a picture. They have long tongues for picking seeds out of fruits Quote
Caroline Posted January 2, 2008 Posted January 2, 2008 A search for "toucan tongue" got this pic similar to yours: http://www.fotosearch.com/NGF007/73924066/ (Plus of course the famous poem "Can a toucan can-can?") Quote
flashawd Posted January 2, 2008 Author Posted January 2, 2008 Perfect - I knew someone might know. Thanks - Eric Quote
