DonR
Hi All! Ive created a striped material in Hash and have applied it to a cylinder. The problem I have is the the stripes are horizontal and I want them vertical. Can I use this material as a decal or is there another fix? Admin Rodney Posted December 18, 2007 Admin Share Posted December 18, 2007 Ive created a striped material in Hash and have applied it to a cylinder. You could make the material into a decal and that may be the easiest solution at this point. Especially if you've got the stripes just as you want them. The correct answer however is to go back into the material and exchange the horizontal settings of your stripes for verticle ones. If you post the material here in the forum (you may have to zip it) others can look at it for you.
phatso
Or you could cheat: rotate the cylinder 90 degrees before applying.
John Bigboote
NO! In the materials properties box 'should' be a 'transform' dialogue...rotate one of the axis 90 degrees (the Z?) Test and adjust...
