Jentham2000 Posted November 10, 2007 Posted November 10, 2007 Hi Everyone, Attached is my first render of an idea that I am working on. The House and Thom were modeled by others. My portion is the Letterbox Chor, and my first time using a video editor to place the text in the bottom corner. For a newbie, I am happy so far. Not satisfied, just happy to make somehting useful. My question is, how do I add a textured background or clouds to this shot? I looked in Camera 1 but it looks like you can only change the color. Also, would anyone know how to extend the grass/sidewalk on the right and left sides of the house. Thanks again for help.... Regards,Bob Comm1.mpg Quote

To add a background (assuming the camera doesn't move during the shot) - right click on the camera in the chor and choose NEW, rotoscope - then select the image you want to use (either already loaded or browse for it with other). To extend the grass/sidewalk - you will have to alter the model ? - not sure I understand the question (since that was the obvious answer) Quote
Jentham2000 Posted November 10, 2007 Author Posted November 10, 2007 Thank you, that takes care of the background.....thanks! Sorry, I should have been more about the house model. Please see the attached graphic. Thanks again, Bob Quote
NancyGormezano Posted November 10, 2007 Posted November 10, 2007 If the surfaces are already decaled - and you extend (stretch) the grass/ground the decal will "stretch" with the surface. If it is too stretchy looking - then you can set a repeat for the decal (under the decal container in the model) or reapply the decal. Quote
Kamikaze Posted November 11, 2007 Posted November 11, 2007 If you use a material for grass, you can enlarge the ground model in the Chor. with no stretching, Getting the right look my take some adjusting of the models size in the model window. If my memory serves me correctly. Quote
Jentham2000 Posted November 11, 2007 Author Posted November 11, 2007 Great, I'll try this today! Thanks again, Bob Quote
