Hi - I am playing around with the dust effect - my character jumps and lands with both feet - the dust is too "round" looking - is there a setting in there that would disperse it a little different like swirl - so it doesn't look like a perfect round ball of dust? Thanks - E

for swirls you'd have to engineer something with a particle effect and maybe forces to mess it around a little.

I think you can squash the dust effect but it's basically a semi-transparent ball.

You can add turbulence to volumetric effects like dust. The tutorial in TAoA:M explains how to do it.

Another approach, which is similar but might be better, would be to create a sprite particle emitter model. Constrain it to each foot in the same way that you do the dust effect, animating the rate of emission at the foot fall.
