Steven547
I have the 2007 version of A:M. Using 13.0s. On the extras disc, there is a Penguin.mdl. When I bring that into my choreography, 1/2 his body is in the ground. Do I need to "pull" him up or is there a setting to make the "floor" non penetrable? MattWBradbury
One solution is to raise the model out of the ground (or above the xz plane) in the modeling window. The other is to translate the object in the choregraophy so it does not subtend below the ground. I'm not sure if A:M can prevent models from moving through a surface other than using newton physics, which is not an animation; instead, that is a simulation to try and recreate accurate forces on rigid objects. Admin Rodney Posted April 26, 2007 Admin Share Posted April 26, 2007 Many of the models on the Extra DVD were created prior to Hash Inc implementing the ray tracing process that calculates where to place a model when its dropped onto a surface or path. I suspect if you go into Bones Mode you'll find the Root Bone isn't at the base of the character. That would be the usual suspect I think. Edit: Matt has the solution in this particular case. Go to a side view and reposition the model.
