Ravager
is there any such thing as an "object collision" for a bone? if there is, can you tell me how to do it?

John Bigboote
If you apply a dynamic constraint to a bone...you will see it has a CD option, though I'm unsure if it is detecting other bones, CP's, or mesh-geometry in general...preferrably the latter. The thing to remenber with collision detection...it's pretty 'hit-and-miss'. (chuckle)
Ravager
what do you mean, "CD option"? what would you recomend in the settings for the bone or bones if you want them to act like hair or loose tentacles, and that they don't go through the model or scene? John Bigboote
CD= Collision Detection...I don't understand the other Q...(question)
Ravager
i mean for the bone to not move through things like thin air, i want it so that the bone bounces off the model it is originating from. i dont know how else to put it, like it would for the texture of hair, but only in bone form, it cant be done in a hair texture form, its complicated.
