Hmmmm, feeling slightly dumb

Hi there,

So I've started A:M for the very first time.... not true but may as well be.

In the first tutorial, the Kit e Kat is asked to be brought in. That's easy, but it floats in mid-air and I can't see where there may be a "drop to floor" type of command or function or something.

Does one exist?

Signed Newbie of the year. lol

Cheers

Clinton

Drop the model in the chor. window via camera view (#1 on the num pad)

Hey, thanks for the quick reply.

I did that, but that is where my problems are, I think. I've just gotten the hang of the different windows and used the side and front views to sort through it. I can tell I'm going to have some trouble with this.... hee hee. I'm on the Can can one now, it's moving along nicely and feel a bit more confident.

Try dropping Keecat into your choreography window from a top view. If you drop a model into a choreogrphy it will fall until it hits another object. If you need to move it the choreography icon (loud-hailer) is highlighted, and then just click on your object, to select it, and then drag it to it's new location. Don't forget to make use of the orthogonal views, (numeric keypad: 2,4,6,8,5 and birdseye 7 as well as camera view 1). Ctrl/Shift/Z to zoom in to you selection.
