Hello Fellow Animators, this is my first try at using the forum, I didn't have the nerve before. Finally desparation has wrestled me to take a dive and try and learn Aminmation Maater.

Can anyone help me change octagon tires back to round ones?

When I drag in the sedan for lesson 8 the tires appear normal -round. If I render the view to shaded the tires become octagonal. I've checked the properties panel and have not been able to find any connection to the new shape. :(

Try the Page Up and Page Down keys on your keyboard.

They toggle the realtime resolution in A:M.

It doesn't effect your model... just the way you view it.

Lower resolution can help you animate faster etc.

Thanks Robcat, I looked for the poly per patch but couldn't find it. I went to the render to file icon, checked the advanced options, scrolled the list but did not see the Polys per patch. I'm using A:M 2005 ver. 12ot.

Is there any advice you can give me on how to get to the polys per view feature Robcat2075?

It's only visible if you have selected "shaded" for rendering method. It doesn't apply to other modes.
