Steven547 Posted July 7, 2006 Posted July 7, 2006 Ok..this is probably a dumb question, but, I want to create letters that can be used in an animation. (Letter falls and character picks up letter and puts it back in its place). I'm in model mode, and have created my letter, but, how do I create a MODEL from that letter to be used in my choreography mode? I've looked in the manuals and the new A:M book, but maybe i'm missing something. Any help??? Thanks. Steven Quote
Eric2575 Posted July 7, 2006 Posted July 7, 2006 Unless I'm not understanding your question, you just import the model into the chor and do your thing with it there. Quote
Stuart Rogers Posted July 7, 2006 Posted July 7, 2006 If you haven't yet created a choreography, do so by double-clicking the choreographies folder in the Project Work Space (PWS). This should open a window showing the camera's view of the choreography. To place your model into the choreography, drag and drop it from the models folder (in the PWS) to either the open choreography (in the PWS) or onto the choreography window. Quote
Ilidrake Posted July 7, 2006 Posted July 7, 2006 Just create a choreography and drag the letters into it. It's probably a good idea to model the 'falling letter' as a seperate model from the rest. Just a suggestion. Quote
Steven547 Posted July 7, 2006 Author Posted July 7, 2006 I guess the issue i'm having, is after I create my letter, how do I save it as a model? Sorry, i'm still pretty new to this. Steven Quote
Ilidrake Posted July 7, 2006 Posted July 7, 2006 In your Project Workspace, right-click on the model name and simply choose Save-As. Wish I had AM on this computer so I could give you a screen shot. Quote
Steven547 Posted July 7, 2006 Author Posted July 7, 2006 Ahhh....figured it out! Thank you very much! I think sometimes I "overthink" things with this program! Quote
