ok now that i have completed my tripod i'm moving on the the other machinery in this case the blood sucker

Make it less boxy. and it would look more painfull if it had more needles and claws.and see if you can add some kind of tube were the blood come through.it just looks so...normal,but thats my opinion.

You could add all manner of nurnies. Depending on the relative scale of your model, perhaps an image I made a couple of years ago can provide some inspiration... <Clickety-click>

cool so your the guy that made that pic can you tell me how you the blood

on the needle and claws?

 

oh and the three claws on the sucker are not suppose to move they stab into the person to keep them from moving and then it sucks up the blood and it goes into one of the containers on the back of it

It's a simple decal I made in Photoshop Elements - a few dabs of red over a transparent background, saved with an alpha channel (that is, saved as a 32-bit TGA).
