maddav99
What types of files can be imported in and out of AM? I don't have the software but am considering it because of it's animation prowess, but not real keen on the whole "spline, patch modeling process" and wondered if I had a modeling software like Silo or Hexagon can I have some file format that I can import in and out of. luckbat
Short answer: Yes, available importers are here: http://www.innovateenterprises.com/AM/ Long answer: It won't work. Polys and patches are so different that you'd end up spending more time tweaking the imported poly model than you would have modeling from scratch. Kelley
Alternate short answer: I came over from Carrara about six months ago. It's not that painful. [and you'll be glad you did.]
