Ed Doyle Posted January 27, 2006 Posted January 27, 2006 I'm just curious. When I take my daily look through the various forums I often wonder about the ranking system, from Newbies to Masters. Obviously one has to work one's way up. But how does it does it work? Rodney, perhaps you can enlighten me? Ed Quote
Robert-Jank Posted January 27, 2006 Posted January 27, 2006 YOu start at newbie and after you get up to 100 posts. YOu become a master.....that simple Quote
KenH Posted January 27, 2006 Posted January 27, 2006 It depends on your number of posts. When you reach 200, you'll become a master(?). Quote
Robert-Jank Posted January 27, 2006 Posted January 27, 2006 Huh??? does my name not say master? I thought it did....... Quote
luckbat Posted January 27, 2006 Posted January 27, 2006 You become a Master at 100 posts. At 200 posts, you can choose your own title. Quote
oakchas Posted January 27, 2006 Posted January 27, 2006 oh, and when you place in a contest, stills or film, you belong to the group of hash fellows. psssst, Shhh, Unless, of course, they INVITE you to join their secret club... but that takes a special vote around the cauldron and blood sacrifices, and boy, it's really tough to get in without placing in a contest... But you didn't hear it from me! Quote
Robert-Jank Posted January 27, 2006 Posted January 27, 2006 <wisper mode on> Ok i understand....... <wisper mode off> Quote
cuboos Posted January 27, 2006 Posted January 27, 2006 cool so how do i know when and what the contests are? Quote
Slipin Lizard Posted January 27, 2006 Posted January 27, 2006 Do you want my "master" title? If you can find a way to swap, I'll happily go back to being "newbie" again. I have no idea what's going on... Quote
Ed Doyle Posted January 27, 2006 Author Posted January 27, 2006 I won't accept any title, other than Master of the Universe. But I think that might be taken. Ed Quote

If you have more then 200 posts you can change the name or rank in what ever you want. So it can become "newbie" again. Quote
ArgleBargle Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 You become a Master at 100 posts. At 200 posts, you can choose your own title. So, nothing involving snatching a virtual pebble from someone's hand? Quote
