I am trying to get started with A.M. I can't seem to get the Pose Sliders to come up. I am on exercise 7. I am using tiger. Everything was working before I had to reinstall everthing on my mac and now I get no pose. Is there anything that I can do? Thank you for any help.

This may be Mac related so I can't suggest any advice there. The OSX forum may be the place to investigate that. It may be just a matter of resetting your preferences.

When you say you can't get the Pose Sliders to come up I assume you mean creating them as opposed to opening and adjusting already created poses. If just opening them make sure they are turned on in the User Properties of your model. Some models will have them turned off.

Is this your own model or one you are using from another source?

Go to 'view' at the top menu of the AM window and click on pose sliders. They can only be viewed in an action and chor. Hope that was what you were looking for.

Thanks that was the info that I needed. (action and choreography) I am new to this animation thing. I have always wanted to do it though. I got this new in the box and registered. I look forward to the challenge.

Thanks Again

If you're using the version that came on the CD, there's almost certainly a newer update you can use - we're up to version 12.0q now..
I look forward to the challenge.
3D animation *is* a challenge. It can be quite daunting at first, but eventually things start falling in to place. At that point it's still a challenge, but really, really satisfying.
